Picturesque, but in June there was no water. Saar river goes to Banias - another amazing place in Golan Heights. Thanks to the springs and water from the glacier (Hermon mountain) all valleys and mountains are green. It was like in paradise!

Beautiful spot on the way from Caesarea Philippi to Mt. Hermon. The water was very muddy the day we were there, but there was lots of water. The flowers are pretty. It just a nice little area to stop and walk for a bit. Pretty!

Great hike. So many wildflowers!! The whole walk takes a couple of hours. Some minor rocks to navigate.

We decided to visit the Saar Falls, but were dissapointed that there is no water during this days, due to the lack of rains or enough rains.but Worth walking around.

In spite of the rainy winter this year, the waterfall is now (mid-May) completely dry. Wait for next year.

The title of this review says it all! I have more water in my taps at home. The view is breathtaking but apart from a small trickle of water which resembles a leaking garden hose, Sorry! No water! Maybe I came during the wrong season?

Nice little waterfall in the Golan Heights whose nondescript entrance begins just by the side of the road, beside an old man's lone fruit stand. Parking is on the other side. After paying a nominal entrance fee, you hike a short trail leading to a...More

This nature area is actually in the Golan Heights (and not in the Galilee). The green all around and the water falls, which are quite easily accessed, are worth a visit. You can find many angles to take photographs at this attraction.

One of the nicest of very few water falls in Israel. Best to track from "Resisim Fall" near Ein Kinya and go down to Saar Fall (about one and half hours walk).

If you're not into hiking, and if you don't feel like paying the entrance fee for a nature reserve (to see, say, the Tanur Falls or the Banias waterfall), then Saar Falls is just perfect. It's way north - halfway betwen Kiryat Shmona and the...More
