Yes, the traditional marina with boats, but the surround is seriously commercial, busy and noisy and not at all a serene experience...fun nonetheless, if you like hubbub, but not the calm of a quiet space.
I was totally not expecting this place at all it doesn't feel like the rest of israel. Resort town everywhere and people by the masses it feels a lot more like las vegas but without all the lights and gambling.
It's a very nice calm place in terms of views and atmosphere - especially for couples. It includes a 23-to-25-feet-tall bridge from which you dive in the day or morning before the guards arrive and a range of (expensive) fun watersports.
The marina and promenade in Eilat are located next to the hotel area in the city.
There are numerous shops, bars, malls and eateries along the promenade, along with a nice beach.

It's a lovely marina where you can shop, eat, swim, sport, relax, roam, do recreation - all on apo 3 kms long Beach. It's so lovely being here. One can pass hours or days here. Best of the hotels, restaurants, malls, shops are here.
We went for trips round the red sea, fishing and hired a yacht. waters warmish; probably better to dive off your boat in summer. Knowledgable staff. Not that interesting for non sailing folk though good for photos.
