Fabulous experience, 4 hour camel ride with pitta making and tea. The views were beautiful, it felt like a proper desert experience. Our guide Benjamin was excellent, explaining things well and helping us all feel safe. We were actually riding the camels independently and not just being led on a rope. The camels obviously know the route well 🙂. Highly recommended.👍

This was the most horrible experience.
We came to the camel ranch where we were welcomed by a nasty lady who told us we were late (by 5 minutes) and said we missed our chance and have to pay 50% of the price. Meanwhile the camels were just chilling outside not doing anything. The lady at the desk started yelling at us in an extremely unprofessional manner. She was so rude and disrespectful. Never ever go to this place. It’s terrible. She threatened to charge us on a credit card she didn’t have.

A lovely place. People who love nature and animals work there. The camels are super cute, a really fun trip in the beautiful and quiet desert. The guide Sahar was simply a charm of a human being. Our little girl was very afraid to get on the camel, he found words to make her do it and she ended up having the most fun of all. At the end of the trip, he made us special tea and pita bread with a lot of love. Thank you very much for the hospitality, we will definitely come back.

Their web site states ”But please it is important to call us before you decide to come-
to check if it possible.”
Me, my wife and two kids called them the same day as visiting and confirmed a shorter (10-minute tour) was available at 16.30. They confirm and we went there. When we got there they stated that no tour was available. In addition no effort on their part to offer something else that could work (for example a guided tour to meet the camels or something else).
Their explanation for this happening was that their phone number connected to a booking service and the booking service do not have access to up to date schedules or booking data on what tours that are available, so basically they just at told us something that usually works.

We were really happy with our excursion! We arrived by taxi (had to ask 3 different taxis bc many of them didn't want to travel on the dirt road to get to the ranch...50 NIS each was from downtown Eilat) the camel ride was about 1 hour and then finished at a campsite with naan made on an open flame and platters of cheese and vegetables. Our guide was friendly. He took photos of everyone during a stop out on the trail. You dont cover much ground on camel bc they are super slow, thank goodness! If travelling in Eilat, I definitely recommend checking this place out. They also had a rope course and offered ATV excursions.

We did 1.5 hour camel ride which really is one hour of actual riding and half an hour of making and eating pita and tea. The guide was very nice and overall it was fun and quite relaxing. We also did the ropes course which was amazing. We were aged 11-adult and everyone had fun. There is a wide range of challenges and many unique.

Terrible service at reception. The worst ever seen in all our experiences around the world. She did not wait literally 4 minutes!!!! The lady at reception was very rude, unfriendly and asked half my family to turn cab around and go back to hotel.. Of course she did not offer any loney back.

I was on a camel ride with the guide Nati. A very charming person, investing and calm, explained very well. The trip was special calm and enjoyable. The whole farm is very pleasant to stay in - pleasant, quiet, has everything you need - toilets, food. At the end of the trip Nati prepared tea, pita bread, vegetables and cheeses for us and it was a pleasure. Thank you Nati.

Came to the camel ranch in September of 2014. Signed up for the half hour camel tour, as our time was limited. The guy literally just walked in front of us leading our three camels, which were all tied together. A majority of the camel tour was in the gravel parking lot. We were probably outside the parking area for no more than 10 minutes on the whole tour. Not much scenery to see either. They could have at least had the tour guide on a camel or moved at a faster pace. At the end of the tour we asked for the guy to take a photo of us before we got off the camels and he said he didn't have time. Was very rude, and it wasn't like there were others waiting to start the next tour. Would've only taken him less than ten seconds to take the photo. What a tool!

During our stay in Eilat we realized we could ride on camels. This we had to try. We booked a 4 hours tour starting at 17.00. To our big surprise we were allowed to ride the camels ourselves, without being towed together. Got great instruction from our guide and could now navigate right and left, stop and start!
Spent the first hour or so riding up on a little hill to view the sunset. On the way down, we had to pull the camels, as they could not walk downhill with people on their back. Like walking a big dog.....
Once we were down, we rode a little more and came to a site, where our guide prepared tea and bread over a fire. It went dark and the last 30 min riding was in the dark under the stars. WAUW!

How much are the camel rides per person? Also do you have a restaurant on site? How far in advance do we need to make reservations?
Thank You!

Hi. :)
We will be in Eilat (with jet lag) for one day next month. My kids (young teens) would enjoy seeing the camels up close. What is the best way to reserve a short ride?
Also, what is the cost?
Thank you!
Written 11 May 2017
Ps. To avoid jet lag take No Jet Lag, a homeopathic product friends recommended that now I never travel without.
