On our day we sat at the site of the palace with Israeli fighter jets actually flying below us on low altitude maneuvers. The site is well maintained and black lines let you what is original from 2000 years ago or reconstructed. The story here...More

The models of Herods palace perched high up on the mountian side at Masada give an amazing perspective of this mans inginuity and egotistical life style. The buildoing of the palace must have cost many lives but still an amazing thing to see.

There is always the option to walk/ climb up the trails to reach the Masada plateau but every 15 min you can do it by taking a cable car . A must when you are around the dead sea

Great Historic site over 2000 years old. A must visit bucket list worthy site. Hot and rocky walk. Take a hat and water. Get a guide to explain all the spots. Worlds oldest synagog there. Read wikipidea before going.

Wow! Amazing architecture on the side of the mountain. How did they do this? Fun walking down the stairs, imagining what it would have been like in Herod's time.
