This place is clean, modest, and very affordable. It is not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. Ali was very sweet and took very good care of me. I almost floated when I walked out of there. I was very happy with my experience.

This is my third hamam. The previous 2 were at historical hamams geared for tourists. This one is very very local--- no fancy interiors, however, the guys at the reception speak English well. I must also say that I received the best scrub and soap...More

The same situation as described before: we were informed that this hamam is only for men. (I found on Google that this is gay friendly hamam, mybe this is the reason). Anyway the reception looked clean and the guys spoke English well.

Unlike other hamams near by, this place is clean, welcoming and not very busy which I find it just perfect! You must visit there and take the whole package.

Relatively cheap authentic Turkish bath (sauna, soap, scrub and massage). Abdul did a great job and would go back. Not the cleanest most modern looking place but authentic and did the job.

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
