Old cobbled street with new brightly coloured houses in the old design. Istanbul has more to see but this is a handy cut through from Topkapi palace. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

I don't agree with the name Souk. This is a cobble stone street that leaves Topkapi Palace and goes down to Gulhane Park. It has a very old restaurant on it and they have built new housing to replace the original housing against the palace...More

This is a single street right before the Topkapi Palace museum. Today (Janury 31, 2016) it is under restoration. However, it is a beautiful street with traditional 19th century Ottoman wooden houses. It is a nice street to get a sense of Old Stambul.
