A great place to people watch as the locals do their shopping. Fresh seafood, olives, spices and local vegetables, a food lovers heaven. Take a seat at a cafe and just soak it all up.

We came to see the Tuesday Bazaar, but it was too far away. Took a stroll through the markets, and had an excellent lunch and chai. It was a great morning.

Actually this asian side of Istanbul is very cool, especially in the night: full of nice (and crowded) restaurants and small shops. You will enjoy excellent food, sweets shops but also stroll looking for architecture and "real life".

First of all it depends on how and where you will arrive to Kadikoy... If you mean by boat, it is a bit far to walk. I would suggest a taxi.
