As far as l have understood from some of the reviews existing with Anadolu Hisarı,many people does mix this one up with Anadolu Kavağı which is on the far end of Bosphorus with its famous Yoros Castle.Please pay attention where you are writing yr reviews...More

We took one of the tour buses to this "small fishing town". The tour company didn't tell us about this fortress but we saw it from the town and decided to try to get to it, even though we only had 40 minutes in town....More

Anadolu Hisarı,Anatolian Castle is a fortress located in İstanbul,Turkey on Anatolian (Asian) side of Bosphorus which also gives its name to the quarter around it.Although this is a historical Museum,it is not open to the public.Very good place to have nice photo with it.

I love a good castle. I have seen them in England, France, Spain, etc. Anadolu Castle is an excellent castle, even though it is in ruins. There is more than enough left of this castle to give you an accurate idea of what it was...More
