The Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III in Uskudar is an 18th century public water fountain built by Ottoman Sultan Ahmed III. Built in rococo style, the stone and wood fountain is located near Topkapi Palace. Worth a stop and a look while visiting the area.

It's really amazing to see the detail put into a simple facility for water. Take a close look before entering Topkapi.

This is one of my favorite structures of Istanbul. Sultan Ahmet III built this fountain or Çeşmesi in 1782. It was built as a charity for the people visiting the Hagia Sofia Mosque, as they could drink water and perform ablution before entering the mosque....More

It is right outside the palace and is worth spending a few minutes at for photos. Not too exciting though.

It is very close to the Palace, and if you rush to the Topkai, most probably you pass by. But it is worth to stop and look on the tiles and ornaments on the walls of the fountain. Very good photo opportunity.
