Hanging bridge

This one was a very big hanging bridge. Very beautifully decorated with lights in the night. This bridge separates Europe and Asia.

We cruised on the Bosphorus Strait and passed under the bridge which links the Asian to the European side. A beautiful bridge;

We visited Istanmbul for a business and we had limited time to explore this beautiful city well. However we visited the main spots of this old City. One of the places I liked in this city was Bosphorus Bridge. There are great views of the Bosphorus strait and Sea from the bridge. I liked mostly the yachts, vessels and chips... More

This bridge connects asia and europe and it is one of many bridges in Istanbul but i think is the most beautiful With illumination during the night it gives a beautiful reflection on water.and also has a stunning view at sunset. It gives you a lot the beautiful view of istanbul while passing there. Istanbul is famous of their cafes... More

It's expensive to drive through it but don't worry. There are many spots around the city where you can admire the bridge.

It's a huge and impressive bridge.The most impressive at this bridge is the agent that connects two continents.It's not the only one in the city.There are two bridges that connect Europe and Asia in Istanbul.

Here we are bridging from Europe to Asia. You have to be getting photos of that! And possibly cruising under it and driving over it (warning - lots of traffic). There is a flag/banner hanging to let you know the wind as well. You can see this bridge a very long ways off if you are near the waterfront.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
