This was a great afternoon! To ride that small boat to this little island. Loved our time in the tower. We drank coffee in the little cafe. Great views all around you. The skyline of Istanbul, the ships passing through. I'm glad we went.

Great if you love historic buildings and a bit of peace away from the hustle and bustle. Most of the building has been taken over by a restaurant and shops but the view from the top is fantastic.

You can't go Maidens tower from Galata, you have to pass the bosphorus first, may be with ferry from Karaköy to Üsküdar. Then you can find the port from Üsküdar to Maidens tower.

You take a tram to Eminouou, then a boat. Only takes a few minutes to reach it. Please buy an Istanbul travel pass available at the kiosk beside Sultanhamet tram stir.
