This is my favorite place in Istanbul, amazing splendid architecture, yet a most serene place. I sat there for hours and came back again the following day and so glad I did. Fabulous and unbelievably it's free

As said by a tour leader, there are around 3200 mosques in Istanbul. But this one is really special: pretty huge and mesmerizing. You need to follow the dress code before entering it. There are also very nice roof cafes around this mosque.

Since i was in the area i saw the tomb too. It wasnt as grand as some neither was it very simple. All in all considering all the buildings around istanbul this was just ok.
