Took a relaxing boat ride on the Strait. Yeah, it was pure touristy...worth the money. I couldn't believe the number of freighters transiting...it was non stop.

The wonderful blue channel is a such a wonderful sight - knowing that there's Asia on one side and Europe on the other. There are several bridges connecting Bosphorus and many cruises available. A must see!

What a cruise. I would recommend this at 7pm as the sunsets and all the lights come on. What a view. Very good for couples or family

Took the small tour of the strait and got an amazing view of how Istanbul was vibrant along the coast. Less to see of historical thing on the Asian side. But great cafes and restaurants.

Walking along the strait or taking a ship to cross it, both are nice and recommended. however, you need to check the timetables to avoid crowd.

it is easy, just get to know the ticketing office. We went with a private guide, just much easier, and you can request the sites you wish to see
