Neighbourhood: Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

Centrally located and excellent value for money compared to most other Madame Tussauds. It perfectly balanced educating visitors on famous Turkish icons as well as worldwide stars making it perfect for foreign tourists. The interactive elements were also really fun. Definitely worth visiting for all ages.

The museum is located in the center of İstiklal Street. Many of the most important academic and sports figures in the world and in Turkey can be seen on the scene. The center is located next to the cinema next to the Taksim square . And its ticket for each adult is about 50 Turkish liras were. The children's play center was also a very good entertainment center

This Museum is not very attractive and having 80 dummies. Not as good as I saw in the Amsterdam. I wasted 94 lira per person.

There is very loud, boring, nightclub music clip playing repeatedly all day long at the entrance of the museum. Same music repeats all day long. This music is very annoying to its customers as well as customers of the cafes around the museum. I have seen many museums in the world, including various Taussauds in Europe. I have not seen such a thing in the world. This museum has a very poor management, has no respect to their customers..

It was a disappointment, only Turkish & American personalities in there.few sports masters included . Waste of money . When the staff saw me writing a bad review on the kiosk he immediately interfered & convinced me to leave it as it’s long & he shall do it. I’m sure he altered my review & made it better before submitting. That’s unfair . U guys showing everyone the wrong picture of yourself.

It’s quite expensive and you don’t get much. It’s incredibly tiny and the historical part is particularly limited... just keep your money and move on!

I wanted to visit Madame Tussauds today and went there around 3p.m. Employee there who was selling ticket was extremely rude to me. There were only two women who were selling tickets, and she was the one with brown hair/brunette to be specific. She told me I wasn't in line which was a big lie. Although I went back, she allowed several people to pass my place and allowed them to violate my place in line. She didn't know how to talk properly and was rude. I am not even tourist in Istanbul I am Turkish and Turkish citizen. I left the place immediately.I never talked to other woman who was selling tickets the one who had red hair, so only person I have complaint is the one I mentioned above. I heard good things about Madame Tussauds in London but I would definitely avoid one in İstanbul and will suggest everyone to avoid it as well.

I have visited Istanbul several times, each time i passed by Madame Tussauds i didn't have enough time to pop in, this time i insisted to go in, i really loved it and so did my daughers, we had a lovely time in there taking pictures with celebrities statues, it is not a big place but it is cool and organised in a lovely setting. It is nice to see it if you happen to be in Istiklal Caddesi

But please do not buy VIP ticket because they do not give you full information about the ticket for example they are saying u will get an statue but this is just your hand 🤚 statue yes ridiculous and it took some time and procedure to do that and at the end you shall pay some more TL for the basement of that hand statue so your hand statue without that basement is useless and they give u some coupon with %10 percent discount to shop but all items overpriced and they took you some pics but just one include the expensive ticket u paid already you must pay 30 Tl again for any other pics with no quality
All i am trying to say just buy normal ticket and enjoy the museum so much and take pictures with all statues some of them are scary because you feel they are alive but some like Tom cruise is not real
The museum is on the right from Taksim square go and enjoy with normal ticket
