Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very scenic walk right by the Bosphorus strait, stretching along the European side between two Istanbul bridges connecting Europe and Asia.
However, I don't find it a must for first time visitors as this magnificent city has much more interesting sites and attractions for them. This was my 6th visit here, so I went here and had great time with almost no tourists, only seeing local's everyday life.

Well at least for me it's the best seaside in Istanbul, you can start you walk from Beşiktaş to Ortakoy, then to Bebek, it takes more than one hour but it will be unforgettable walk in your life, great view of bosphorus especially during sunset...

Bebek waterfront is wonderful. From there you have a spectacular view of other parts of Istanbul, a simply great panorama. You can walk around in the park (the little mosque is very close!) on the shore, or simply sit on a bench and watch people and ships. Watch and be watched is the motto. Some people go in for sports there, others just walk along the coast whiling away their time, or they go fishing. To me, Bebek meant deceleration and joy of life, also le savoir vivre. There are many boats of different types in Bebek harbour: normal ones and also very expensive yachts. Unfortunately, you can also meet people there who want to show off.

We reached it by the metro and then funicular. It was amazing. We were there at sunset, lots of fishermen were around. It was really nice walk

Bebek is very nice and luxurious. Walk near the sea. I loved Arnavutkoy district which is very close to Bebek. There were so many hipster restaurants and bars. The neighbourhood has a spirit, the buildings are very cute, old and unique. A MUST PLACE TO SEE IN ISTANBUL

If you take a walk from Beşiktaş to Bebek it may take over an hour however you will pass remarkable places as Ortaköy, Arnavutköy and finally you will reach Bebek. From there you can catch the view of Bosphorus Bridge and the two banks of Istanbul, Europe and Asia. Also if you walk just one street back, parallel to the seaside you will find modern and hipster bars, cafes and restaurants. Keep in mind that the prices in those places are much higher than standards. In the end Bebek is a bit posh part of the city.

I can say that it is the best and best place where you can do sports with fresh air accompanied by Anatolian side view and seaside scenery. I walked into the sunset with my coffee from Sturbacks and I recommend it to you.

There is a park with children's playground, massive oak trees and of course the view of the Asian side of the Bosporus. The passenger boats, commercial, and private boats add a unique ambiance to this elegant and upscale neighborhood. There are many cafes, patisserie shops, and restaurants too. A nice place to see and be seen
