Small mosque that survived the earthquakes in the 1970’s. Very serene place and lovely to see the beautiful coloured tiles and roofs

The mosque is in a complex with other lovely buildings and gardens. A 1200 year old Koran is kept here and also other old and interesting Korans. The complex is well worth a visit

This is a great location for photographers. The mosque has two great minarets in front, and lovely mosaics. Inside the buildings at the back are a range of souvenir shops.

An imposing historic complex, notable for its exquisite tile-work and blue domes - absolutely beautiful architecture. The museum houses Qurans from the 9th century including the iconic oldest Quran with pages of deer skin.

If there is one place in Tashkent that's must see then it is this complex. The whole complex is gorgeous, picturesque and also houses the oldest Quran, which is written on deer skin. The now defunct Madrassa houses quaint shops.
