This was my first stop on my tour of Uzbekistan, beautiful architecture. And I got to see the oldest Quran. This is a must see.

Preferred means of transport in Tashkent. It is fast, secure, and clean. One buys plastic chips to open the barriers to enter. Each trip is 1.200 sum equaling 12 Euro cent.

A good first stop on a journey to see the magnificent architecture of Uzbekistan. The library near by was also fascinating.

Visited this magnificent large mosque on a beautiful. Most days tourists are welcome to visit the mosque. A fusion architecture between Russian and Turkish. A must see in Tashkent

This mosque is an impressive building but like most of Tashkent it is a modern structure. The entire complex is worth seeing.
