Excellent theatre. Watched the Tin Drum here and was amazing. Needed some translation as didn't have subtitles as some of the plays do. The they're space itself is superb with the audience almost in the midst of the characters. Will be back for more

The work is passionate and dynamic using multiple forms. Performers and directors are skilled in integrating powerful mixtures of techniques. Always engaging.

Brilliant!! If u know Russian I advice u to go to this theater. The Ilkhom theater is unusual then the other theatres in Tashkent, their scene, actors' role playing manner, the plays the choose for spectacle are really different and interesting

I had only one last free evening in Tashkent and was undecided whether to go to the Opera or to the Ilkhom theatre. Luckily, the scheduling decided for me, the Opera did not have any production on that evening. If you are in Tashkent, do...More

It is a wonderful site to see. Unfortunately it was under renovation so we couldn't go inside. But judging by the exteriors it would be worth the visit after the renovation. The building itself is outstanding
