We visited the Alisher Navoi National Park in Tashkent last August when everything was in bloom and it was lovely on that account but the history and reason for this park is dark as it commemorates the Soviet genocide of the Uzbekis. It is nice...More

Especially in the late afternoon, where the weather becomes cooler and one can enjoy the sunset. Lovely pond nearby

Not sure why would one want to see the monument to murdered people instead a museum or a gallery honour ing achievements and history of this country. It is a beautiful place but I would give it a miss if pushed for time.

A beautiful park specially to visit in the spring. Very picturesque and great area to walk around. Good views of the TV tower from here

Visited with my wife. A masterly ballet performance at the Alisher Navoi, a must see for all cultural buffs. Fantastic standards. The tickets are very resonably priced between $8 to 15. Must check on performance dates in advance as the theatre has different performances on...More

Very quiet park. Lots of things to do. Good for the family walk around. In spring and summer evenings is the most pleasant.

Alisher Navoi national park is interesting only for people who have enough time to visit the city. The park is nice with the statue of Alisher Navoi, a big canal, and the madrasa of Abulkasym.

The park is beautiful and located near Tashkent tower. It has museum nearby and the bridge. I've been there in winter, so it was quite cold and no greenery was seen except for the evergreens. I am sure during summer it is very beautiful place...More
