This monument is interesting from an architectural stand point. It celebrates neutrality. The past president is on the top. One can choose to ride an elevator for a view but we chose not to do so.

A monument to reflect nation's neutrality. With a ticket can travel upto museum and then observation desk. Beautiful.

The experience was quite fascinating. I really enjoyed visiting it. The structure and the color in the sunshine is quite a scene.

The three legged monument is worth seeing, just for the architecture, if for no other reason. A monument to neutrality is another unique thing you will probably see only in Turkmenistan

Of all Ashgabat's monuments this is the one that shouldn't be missed because of the views from the top. A small elevator at the side will take you up for less than a $. From the top you get exceptionally good views of the capital....More

Not much except another dose of Presidential hype. The place is empty no cars no people CTV everywhere. What is the governments problem. The place is just weird

Alright so anyone who has already been here probably finds me crazy for saying this is a must do attraction. My main reason for this is to get the photo. This view provides you with a great vantage point to capture the lack of cars...More

Arch of Neutrality. Its must see in Ashgabat, cause except visiting monuments nothing much to do. I managed to find a brief info about this local Eiffel tower which You wont find in LP or other city guide books. It was built in 1995. 95...More

Large, fully decorated monument made out of white marble and gold (like the entire inner city) including a golden statue of the previous president (with cape!). Excellent, huge kitsch piece underlining the city's reputation.
