The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)…

We had arranged in advance of our cruise to take this tour and, in fact, had worked with Felician Fernando (felician@lakpura.lk) to personalize it by creating a more comprehensive itinerary. He was absolutely wonderful to work with, answering all of my emails promptly and corresponding with me via many emails to make everything perfect and include all of the sites we wanted to see. We were so excited to meet him and take the tour we had planned. Unfortunately, our cruise ship canceled the port of Colombo the day before we were supposed to arrive. We contacted Felician with the sad news, and he immediately refunded all of our money, despite the short notice. I cannot compliment him enough for the professional way in which he handled the situation. I hope that anyone who is planning a trip to Sri Lanka will contact Felician at Lakpura LLC to schedule a tour. You could not be in better hands. We certainly look forward to touring with him when we are able to get to Sri Lanka.…

We spent 15 days on a private tour of Sri Lanka, booked through Lakpura. We had a good itinerary and were allocated an excellent driver, Roshan Doole, He would tweak the itinerary to suit us and was very knowledgeable. His skill as a driver was second to none. When he knew we were interested in Sri Lankan wildlife and birds, he ensured we had a very experienced guide to take us around our safari in Yala National Park. At the start of the holiday, we sorted out entrance fee costs to all the places on our itinerary so that we knew our budget. These had not been included in our holiday costings provided by Lakpura. We saw so many interesting things that it’s hard to single out specifics but we did see a leopard on our Yala safari. When we took a train journey, Roshan would ensure we were safely on the train before leaving the station and driving to our destination to meet us there.…
