We were 4 French people (2 couples). We spent 5 weeks with Hunza Adventure Leaders : 1) Islamabad --> Hunza Valley --> Rakaposhi & Diran BC : 4-5 days 2) Shimshal --> Shimshal Pass -->Manglik Sar --> (Chapchingal Pass NOT POSSIBLE)-->to KKH along a river gorge : 18 days 3) Fairy Meadow - Bouldar Peak - back Islamabad through Naran : 4-5 days The trip was very good. Good organization. The agency has always try do its best despite difficult conditions for trek 2). Treks 1) and 3) are classical and easy ones. Trek 2 was complicated because we didn't want to go back Shimshal after Shpodin pas. By the way, it is would be a nice round trip. We wanted to go to Chapchingol pass and KKH. It was impossible because river have to much water to cross it. We went to KKH along another river with an old path. It takes 3 days with sometimes no more paths. The guide and porters did the best...they often builded a new path in/along very steep slopes ! WE THANK VERY MUCH all the 8 porters (Farad, Karim, Hussein, Mohamed, ...) and the guide (Mansour) for their great courage and great kindness during all the trek (and specially durnig the last 3 days !). All these people are from Shimshal village (a very nice place !). Of course, alos GREAT THANKS to Zia (Aziz's brother, one of the Agency leaders) who dit trek 1) and 2) with us to discover it and Sherla, our cook for the 3 treks. Sherla understand we wanted to eat not spicy food. He never hesited to wake up early (1H30 am) when we did summits ! Only very good memories from theses 5 weeks !

Unfortunately this company has no clue about mountaineering nor technicalities of climbing a mountain - they have trips posted on their page for high altitude mountains climb but they done have a qualified team for it! I have signed up to climb Pastore Peak with another Austrian lady and I thought upon their advice that they are professional and at least they have done this trip before. It turned out that the guide has never been on this mountain. the maximum he has done was crossing Gondogoro La pass. On the summit day, the guide left us alone at 5,200m with the high altitude porter and 200m of ropes to fix and climb 1,200m for the summit claiming he has a backache; that was a big risk of safety and non-responsibility spirit from the guide. Had the porter with us not able to help us on the mountain, we would have been in a very dangerous situation. Besides other and other ignorance mistakes they have shown during the expedition. I have done several big expeditions in my life such as Elbrus, Mont Blanc, ...etc . This group is simply a scam, not professional at all and not qualified to run mountaineering trips and be responsible on the hikers safety. Such a shame and loss of money we have paid and loss of time due to lack of logistics organizing. when we were back home, we asked for a refund for the difference between the trip that we have signed up for and what they have performed, we received a very inconvenient response showing a big lack of professionalism.

We got in touch with Aziz in february 2018 and decide together the sight seeing program. He gave us good advices about what to see and which part of the country to avoid since we were two women. We arrived from France in Islamabad end of august and Aziz and a driver guided us toward Hunza and Gilgit Baltistan on an outstanding sight seeing tour. The weather had been great and we experienced wonderful views of Rakaposchi and Nangat Parbat. Aziz and his team had been wonderful guides, changing the program when circumstances needed it, very flexible and helpfull. We went up to the chinese border and then in remote valleys such as Shimsal .The people from Pakistan were very welcoming, happy to meet french people since they do not see many. They were very concerned with our safety , and in some areas policemen came with us. For us , it was very surprising to see and meet mostly men, since the culture do not promote women ! We drove with fabulous drivers , able to manage incredible roads, with fabulous landscapes and we always felt comfortable and safe. We highly recommand Hunza Adventure Leaders .
