As part of a small tour group (Intrepid), we were asked if we wanted to go to this show. I must admit, I wasn't expecting much. I was so very wrong!!! This show was quite simply outstanding and I would rate it as one of...More

If it wasn’t part of the tour package we wouldn’t have seen it (not really our thing to do - perhaps more for the older traveller!), but it did give an insight in to traditional dances and music we wouldn’t have got otherwise. For others...More

This was absolutely amazing to watch. So much variety from dancing to singing to instrumentls, and the famous throat singing. There were also contortionists who were incredible. The show starts at 1800 but tickets go on sale at 1730. We got there at 1745 and...More

I'm not a fan of folklore type performances but this show was absolutely worth the time and money. Mongolian music, costume and dance have a distinct style. They are very atypical. It was an educational evening in many ways. We attended this performance on our...More

Get there early because there are no assigned seating. You will have to compete with many large tour groups. Bench seating so not comfortable for everyone. Performances take around one and a half hours. Great cultural performances giving one a glimpse of various traditional musical...More

On many occasions these types of shows can disappoint but the performances at the ensemble are well worth a visit. The performers, particularly the singers, were excellent. The show highlights the numerous instruments of traditional Mongolia and dance. The performance is well paced and interesting...More

Not sure exactly but your hotel will know. Be sure to arrive at lease 30-45 minutes early as you don't get seating and it's pot luck for seating! It's a great cultural experience. We really enjoyed it!
