Highlights of the tour were the photo opportunities in the vast plains of the Gobi, White Shrine with its ice filled gorge in the middle of summer, the rolling sand dunes in Singing Sands and the camel ride. We appreciated the excellent communication from Stone...More

My short stay with Yadmaa and Davasuren was the highlight of my Transmongolian trip. I was shown such warmth and their hospitality was second to none! The Ger stay felt authentic, provided a great insight into the herder lifestyle and really allowed me to make...More

I went to one of their tours 2 years ago, deeply impressed. I have been to multiple riding tours, and I would say Stone Horse has the best horses! I planned a ad-hoc trip again this weekend, four days in Mongolia in total with 2...More

Amazing experience. We were in Mongolia for business and only had a little time to experience the countryside outside of Ulaanbatar. The overnight stay with Yadmaa and Davasuren was as authentic as you could hope for. We herded horses, milked cows, chopped wood for the...More

Yadmaa and Davasuren's hospitality tends to evoke those thoughts in all our guests, the feeling of not wanting to leave, or at least spend a little more time there. I'll pass on your comments to them, which I'm sure they will appreciate. Visit again next...More

Carla, thanks for the comments. Yadmaa and Davasuren do make it pretty comfortable even in the winter, keeping the traditional ger (yurt) warm. So glad your Mom was able to enjoy a bit of Mongolia countryside life.

We're so glad we were able to make this a great birthday celebration. Both of you are good riders and it was nice to have the interesting conversations in the heated dining tent each morning and evening.

Hi, I'll be a female solo traveller, and I'm looking for a horse trekking experience in October in Mongolia. I can't seem to find much past September. Do you run anything in October ? I'm an experienced rider, looking for an extended horse trek around 5 days ? Many thanks Gail

I am a 60 year old American woman. Following a 3 week tour of China in September, 2016, I plan to travel to Mongolia for a week or so. I will be part of a tour group in China but will be traveling alone to Mongolia. I am not at all concerned about the tour being too strenuous but, from your experience, is it safe for a woman to travel alone in Mongolia? Is Stone Horse accepting of solo female travelers? Thanks so much for any advice you can offer.
