This presidential palace is located in the heart of the city. Fortunately I had the opportunity to photograph it on 10/27/2017 right after the rainy season had ended. Though you can't go inside don't miss it!

I stopped by here just for pictures but I am totally impressed by the grandeur of this place. The building is of colonial taste and lots of important meetings have been conducted in this very building.

the presidential Palace is one of very important place in Lao. The place has many security persons and you walk from Patuxay place. the location is about 1 km from Patuxay and very comfortable to go there through pedestrian way. Happy travels!

Nice large colonial edifice...but not to the public, largely symbolic facility used for dignitary visitations and special occasions. Short walk from Wat Sisaket and Catholic church in centre ville. Worth a photo from the gildes gates.

After walking to the Presidential Palace, I was disappointed to only be able to take pictures outside the palace. Oh well....I can say I saw it!

There is no visitation but tourists use its front and back as photo props. The palace, as seen at night from the Chao Anouvong statue, is all lit up and presents a splendorous site.

A very impresive and majestic building in the heart of downtown Vientiane on Rue Setthathirath. It was originally built as the official residence of the Laos President, he however does not now live there and is now used for ceremonial purposes only. It is unfortunately...More

One is not allowed to enter and is only a photo point from outside. The city is small and hence one can stop in front while taking an usual round and take a few photographs
