This park is about an hour outside of Vientiane and is definitely worth a visit. It's not quite as impressive as its counterpart in Nong Khai but the statues are still very cool and some interesting designs. It's on the Mekong so you can also...More

I wasn't too sure what to expect. I was dreading it was going to look like a theme park. But no, it's one man's vision back in 1958. Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat, a priest/shaman, started sculpting the statues. His unique beliefs combined Buddhism and Hinduism....More

For anyone who is visiting Vientiane, this park is a must! The part is quite far away from the city center, you could either hire a taxi or use the local bus to get there. It's definitely a must!

Fantastic especially the big sleeping Buddha scripture. It is worth a visit if you have time. Place is easily accessible from the city and they have a small restaurant also.

Mixture of statues both Buddhist and Hindu. Cheap to enter but taxi rides are not . But the satires are a little different to that that you see else where. Not very big place, can be finished in 1 hour max.

The buddah park was a really good experience. The park is not so big and far away, so it is a good activity to do if you're not in the mood for something that takes a really long time. It is smart to take the...More
