You can spend a quality 30 minutes looking at old concrete monuments in a one acre park up 5 Klm of dusty pot holed roads This is without a doubt Vientiane finest attraction

the park holds a collection of gigantic buddha statues as well as other gods the largest of which is the leaning buddha.

Unusual and Interesting. I took the bus it cost 6000 Kip each way and the trip time is 40 min to destination same on the return. Bus 14 and it stops at the Thai- Lao Friendship Bridge both ways The bus is air conditioned.

Located around 28 km, this Buddha Park offers us a good driving. In the park, there are many interesting Buddhist and Hindu Buddha statuses. You can enjoy the scaring hell and interesting heaven by climbing up. My American friend does enjoy the park.

Since u r in Vientiane another extra day will be more relaxing. Going around Vientiane in a motorcycle is more convenient but for me renting a bicycle is good enough for me. Going to Buddha Park by bus is just as easy. Take... More

daily from 8am - 4pm, go early when its cooler, middle of the day and afternoon can be very hot
