The spa and massage that is. Not on the grounds of the temple itself (which looks serene), but a small alleyway right before the temple (if you're coming from town) leads you to it. Definitely better places to get a massage and the herbal sauna...More

I attended the Saturday meditation at 4 pm. Didn’t make it to the monk chat at 3 pm. The wat was not too hard to find and I walked from town (although you could bike, motorbike or tuk tuk there). The mediation was great and...More

Attended the Saturday Vipassana meditation session. Novice monks chat with attendees before the session to practice their English. The meditation lasted an hour with a 20 minute sitting meditation, 20 minute walking meditation and a 20 minute q&a session. Altogether an enlightening and enjoyable evening.

Not easy to find. Even our local driver had to ask, but worth it. Not sure it will help future travellers but it is one street to the right of the temple...facing the temple. Down 50 meters on your left. Five dollar for a one...More

Really enjoyed the Vipassana meditation sessions offered by the Monks. Well worth trying. It's lovely to spend time chatting with them as they practise their English too.

We arrived just in time to join the monks for conversation. We sat around in small groups of two or three and chatted with the monks. They really want to learn English so this is the main reason for this time before meditation. The monks...More

I am not aware of the possibility of a massage or spa at this Buddhist temple. I think it is unlikely.
