Attended the Saturday Vipassana meditation session. Novice monks chat with attendees before the session to practice their English. The meditation lasted an hour with a 20 minute sitting meditation, 20 minute walking meditation and a 20 minute q&a session. Altogether an enlightening and enjoyable evening.

Not easy to find. Even our local driver had to ask, but worth it. Not sure it will help future travellers but it is one street to the right of the temple...facing the temple. Down 50 meters on your left. Five dollar for a one...More

Each Saturday the Wat Sok Pa Luang hold English conversation 3:00-4:00 pm and then vipassana meditation 4:00-5:00pm. Peaceful, calming and serene. The meditation had a great energy.

Really enjoyed the Vipassana meditation sessions offered by the Monks. Well worth trying. It's lovely to spend time chatting with them as they practise their English too.

We arrived just in time to join the monks for conversation. We sat around in small groups of two or three and chatted with the monks. They really want to learn English so this is the main reason for this time before meditation. The monks...More

As I read, heard and saw, the massage and sauna place that I first visited in 2007, burnt down. What a pity, because it was so special. The rest of the (forest) temple is unchanged. Nice place to get away from all the tourist bustle...More

I rode my bicycle there and found a pretty desolate template with no sign of people. Only if I read other folks' comment beforehand, I could have use that time to do something else.

I am not aware of the possibility of a massage or spa at this Buddhist temple. I think it is unlikely.
