Mulberries Fair Trade Stores are located in central Vientiane and Luang Prabang old town. Our Organic Mulberry Farm is located in Xieng Khouang province, just outside the city of Phonsavan. We're a short 20min drive from the historic Plain of Jars sites. Please come and visit our farm if you are traveling in the area, tours are available between 8am-4pm Monday-Saturday. For directions see our website.Our aim is to advance a economic, cultural and socially sustainable Lao silk and handicraft enterprise that improves the livelihood of the people we work with. An important part of our work is to ensure that our environmental, cultural and artistic resources are safeguarded for future generations. In purchasing products from Mulberries Fair Trade Stores, you will be supporting the economic livelihood of Lao village communities. You can help us to ensure that traditional skills and artistic designs distinctive to Lao culture are passed on to younger generations.

We have just visited and bought 6 lip balms (£1 each) for our family and friends. It's a beautiful shop and makes it even better that it is fair trade. I'd recommend a visit.

Mulberry offers traditional handicrafts and silk scarf at a price that really astonished me. It seems that once you offer a product sale on fair trade base everything is allowed. A silk scarf at 600 USD is a price that can be accepted in Vientiane?...More

A fair-trade shop showcasing the skilled artisans of Laos. They have a large selection of silks and home wares. A great place to purchase gifts as you can be sure everything is authentic and the funds are going to a good cause.

This shop is absolutely worth a visit, I really enjoyed seeing and feeling the fantastic textiles displayed and the many beautiful colours, - there are so many gorgeous scarfs and shawls, - and the place is a perfect gift shop for good quality gifts.

The Laotian textiles are absolute works of art and the amount of work that goes in to them is just staggering! Mulberries offer a beautiful range of products to suit all tastes. I love that they support fair trade too :)
