Because the mosque is close to Nurzhol Boulevard (with the Bayterek Tower), a visit is easy to plan.
The white mosque with the large golden dome is beautiful to see.
Inside the mosque, there was a large hall with an intricately decorated dome above. The mosque was easily accessible.

Nur-Astana Mosque is a significant structure in the central district of Astana. It is an imposing building and was completed in 2005, it was designed by Lebanese architect Charles Hafiz. The mosque is reported to be the third largest mosque in Central Asia. We visited the site a number of times whilst we were in Astana, it is definately worth visiting whilst in the city.

Compared with the other mosques in the city this one is could be considered "small" (although it's not really that small), but the golden roof is quite prominent if you look out over the city from an elevated position. Just went for a walk around here and took some photos, didn't go inside. Was a nice quiet area.

Walking on Dostyq street, and right by the Asia Park mall, is this iconic mosque. It looks stately and majestic at night, and also during the day, It is definitely worth visiting, even if just for photographic purposes.

Not as grand as the Hazrat Sultan mosque, but still visually impressive inside. There is a courtyard before you enter the main prayer hall which has the colour blue has the main decorative theme. The ceiling is very high up and special prayer place within the main hall, where an imam says some prayers for locals. The mosque is situated near the Marriott hotel so a bit away from the center of the city but easy enough to reach and spot with its golden domes.

This is a beautiful and serene mosque that is not too crowded. As it is an active place of worship, definitely approach with respect.

A very quiet and beautiful mosque - a good place to visit if you never have seen a mosque's interior, but also if you look for new impressions. Obviously, also a good place if you would want to pray.

It is located right in the heart of left bank - so any of the practicing muslims can reach it for Friday prayers - you will see people from constructions nearby, white collars suited up, military on lunch break coming together to unite before God.

Comparatively small and amenities are lesser to Hazret Sultan, but it has a beautiful park around it where you can chill in hot summer or enjoy a picnic.
