A must visit, 360 degree View of Astana from Bayterek is Awesome, Highly Recommended. .. View from this tower will give you goosebumps as everything they are constructing in this city is 100% related to other buildings and they are in the same geometrical symmetry.

Baiterek Tower is one of the things you need to see in Astana. You can take great pictures from up there. Also for the architectural point of view it is an interesting design.

The legend of the Baiterek is interesting and the building is quite unusual. The view from the top shows the countryside all around the city - so amazing to see - the city ends and the flat steppes begins. In the evening the Baiterek lights up and changes colours - great fun to watch walking along the garden walkway that... More

The landmark of the capital city is popular both among the tourists and locals. Best place to take the pictures!

In Astana on a long layover and headed right to the tower. Currently surrounded by a large metal wall. Couldn't find any other way to get in (perhaps I missed something?) but there was no signage to tell me where the entrance was and no notice of it closing. Definitely disappointed, looked cool!

The tower is shaped in the form of mythical poplar tree of life and the bird of happiness, Samruk, has laid the egg on top of it. If you don't know the story, the shape just looks weird. The observation deck is 97 meters above the ground, corresponding to year 1997 when the capital was moved to Astana ("Capital" in... More

Baiterik is an elegant centerpiece to an eclectic capital. In terms of form, I find it faultless. It stands redolent as a symbol to some harmless national mythologizing, and suggests optimism, confidence and prosperity. Much like the Eiffel Tower, the area around Baiterik is packed with out-of-towners selling cheap Chinese plastic toys. Unlike the Eiffel Tower, they don't get in... More

Lovely tower in daytime and even better when lit up at night time. Good view of all weird buildings. Lots of local tourists in the tower putting their hand in the "hand".

I take all my guests and visitors to this tower because you can have a nice view all the city. Over the years I came here maybe 40-50 times and don't mind going back. I can always see how the city is changing. I really recommend to go there.

The tower was built as the focal point of the new capital. Enters an elevator on the level of the golden ball. In the middle you will be able to lend a hand to cast the hand of President of Kazakhstan. Beautiful view of the entire capital. Must see in Astana
