A good place to visit on your way to the boats and the night market.

What I liked about this Wat was the number of monks who visited at the same time as I did and who gave a lot of colour to the Wat. I also liked the chanting coming from the Wat.

This was a beautiful escape from the hassle and bustle of the city. It is also the highest point above sea level in the city. The gardens and statues are pretty awesome.

This temple is at the highest point in the city on the top of a small hill and was built in the 1300s. It is a bit commercialised which takes something away from the religious meaning however.

We were in Phnom Penh on their new year and Wat Phnom is where it's all at!! Party Central. We danced with all the locals. It was amazing!! The actual temple is pretty impressive too. Especially at night it's all lit up.

The history and symbolism of this place is amazing. Lots of wonderful architecture. Ideal for pictures. Make an offering to Lady Penh, she was an amazing woman!

Definitely worth a visit, as its a large temple, but not very ornate and the upkeep isn't maintained (or so it seems compared to others) considering foreigners pay US$1 for entry

Compare to the great palace, this place is more interesting. We ca observe several decorations on the monument and lots of statues. It is a good place to go when it is sunny and hot because there is a lot of trees and you can stay in the shadow.

The grounds are robust, but there is only one temple to see. It is very cheap to get in $1. The grouads are well maintained and it the display inside is a wonderful sight.

The entrance for the first temple in phnom penh is in comparison with other sights really cheap, just 1 Dollar. You can look around but you dont need that much time.

Thank Meike H
