As central markets go, this was fairly basic. Lots of everyday items booths with the same products. The best area was the food, especially the produce, meats and fish. Interesting fruits and vegetables that are not commonly founds in the USA.

The market is a visually interesting building. It is surrounded on all sides by streets, so it’s easy to keep your bearings and difficult to get lost (great for my wife). The vendors are friendly but less overbearing than what we’ve gotten used to from...More

Yes it is another market in Asia but as I love markets, I really enjoyed. You can get anything you want here, so go with the flow, smile and remember you have to bargain.

I actually liked this market bit there are far too many stall holders with over inflated prices . example: I went to buy some washing powder and was asked to pay $5 for a 45 Gramme small pack. I haggled the lady down to $1...More

Hi If I were going to Cambodia for three nights I would definately spend all my time in Siem reap. The attractions of the temples and countryside are so good that it is easy to spend time exploring near by. Try to get to a... More
