As part of our City Cyclo Tour we stopped off at the central market. Very clean and lots to see. Recommend that you bargain for the final price at about 50% for any purchase.

This is similar to chatuchak market in Bkk but in my opinion not as good. I prefer Russian market to this for clothes.

Huge market and fun vendors. Very reasonable pricing straight up but bargaining can still be done. Make sure you have plenty of luggage space. I needed to buy extra bags to fit all my shopping into. Stall H3 096.. very friendly vendors and will do a good deal.

I have been coming to Cambodia for work over the last two years and I can tell you from experience that Central market, although diverse in wares and pretty well organized, is of no comparison to the slightly cheaper and more casual Russian Market.

Our guide dropped us off here for an hour to explore. 10mins was enough for us. There were rows & rows of souvenirs, things that glitter & overpowering smells. If you've never been to any big Asian markets you'll probably enjoy the wander. We've seen enough markers.

Here you can find an array of souveniers from keychains to handbags to tshirts. They also sell luggage bags and there is wet market. Please bargain when you purchase unless you are willing to be overcharged😬

Central market is ok for shopping if you want to buy t shirts and things like that. However Russian Market is more interesting and has a wider range of interesting tourist gifts. The good thing about Central market is that it is reasonably clean ad not too hot. it is easier to get around than the Russian market.

You can eat there or buy clothes/ accessories. I enjoyed a lot this market. Its very crowded. I went two times if you have seen it all and you dont have another thing to do.

Plenty to see & plenty on offer at pretty good prices. Easier to find clothes and shoes in smaller sixes, as most Asian markets are. Good for my girlfriend, but not so good for me. I can usually find one or two things. Hard to find shoes, if you have a foot size much bigger than 10. Nice place to... More
