Don't expect this to be a tourist market - it is more focused on the local inhabitants. Not much in the way of souveniers, but you can get some decent bargains. The old colonial building is quite nice though.

I had read so much about Psar Thmei that when i went there irl, i was pretty disappointed. Almost all the shops were closed and we didn't know how to enter the market. Maybe it was a bad day or they shut early.

Get anything you need here: food, flowers, books, clothing. Hundreds of vendors make for an interesting and lively glimpse into to local culture. Definitely worth a visit, if just to stroll around.

We always love a local market on holiday!! Decided to walk to take in the local sights and found the market OK. It’s ram packed with everything imaginable. We were looking for little gifts to take home. Make your way to the central dome area...More

Large market with a big variety of goods. Nice layout with many sections. Fun bartering on various knock off stuff.
