Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had to come back three times to finally get into this museum, as it always seemed to be closed: closed for lunch, closed for national holidays, closed for religious observances- any excuse, really. But in a city without too many compelling sights, you should probably persist with this one. It offers a good overview of Bangladeshi history and culture, with an excellent array of exhibits from its ancient past especially.

For a young country like Bangaladesh the museum is quite big ...three floors of exhibits and good collections.

There is one floor exhibiting the flora, fauna of the country ..also depicting the village life of people especially the tribals...the wild life is also represented well including one very long skeleton of a whale.
One floor is completely dedicated to the liberation struggle of Bagaladesh especially on the life of their father of Nation: Sheikh Mujibir Rahman.
The student movement also well explained.Good to know how the students played a huge role in the liberation of their country.
Woth avisit to know more about Bangaladesh

I visited the national Museum when I was a kid. There were many things which I found interesting when I was 10 years of age. I recently visited the museum once again and left the place being disappointed as not much of an update took place within this 15 years. The museum is huge and is located at a very good location right next to the University of Dhaka. The museum needs renovation and needs addition in attractions to visit. So far my favorite part of the museum is where they kept the large boat.
