Beautiful building, both the outside architecture and the inside decorations. The neighboring area is also very interesting: a large harbor on the Caspian Sea and a crowded oil field.

Sat on a hill; the mosque provides amazing views over the sea and the very interestingly the oil fields. The mosque itself is stunning. So simple in design but so elegant. There’s some parking out front.

As far as I know the mosque is open through out the day, however, Friday until 2pm it will be very crowded, including during prayer times.
