The tower is interesting but at 12 manats for foreigners (2 for locals) it's a rip-off. The views are OK but a 2 metre high dirty perspex barrier at the top distorts views. More scenic city views can be had for free (if you walk)...More

Baku is very peaceful and would love to visit again, Maiden Tower is just a stone tower I didn't go inside but the place was well maintained and nice garden surrounded.

The maiden Tower has a long history and is surrounded by old building in downtown Baku. Modern coffee shops allow you to sit and enjoy the area
