Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a small but beautiful park in a busy section of the city. KFC & McDonalds are near by. The park is long and narrow. It has three beautiful fountains. There is a water closet available. There are benches and share available during the heat of the day.

You can find this historical park enclosed by a rectangle made by four famous streets which are Rashid Behbudov Street, Bulbul Street, Zarifa Aliyeva Street and Uzeyir Hajibeyov Street. It used to be called Square of 26 Baku Commissars during the Soviet times. The 26 Commissars were the Bolshevik and Socialist Revolutionaries of the Soviet Commune of Baku. This commune was lead by Stephan Shahumyan until they were forced out of power. After being overthrown these commissars tried to escape but were captured and imprisoned. On 14 September 1918 they were freed from prison by the Red Army anf put on a ship. They were recaptured and put before a firing squad. All of them were buried here in a mass grave and a monument was built over it which was smashed by passionate Azerbaijanis in 1989 at the fall of the Soviet Union.
The monument was replaced by an elegant fountain. The park has many beautiful old trees and unique birds. It now has free WiFi too. I really enjoyed visiting this historical green wildlife haven.
