Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

At the intersections of "Tumanyan" and "Teryan" Streets with "North Avenue" and not far trom the iconic "Armenian National Academic Theater and Opera named after Alexander Spendiaryan", you will find a pretty and small artificial lake. This is "Swan Lake", named probably after the first ballet staged at Yerevan's neighboring "Opera" back in 1935, the acclaimed and eternal Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake". But no real swans were seen there last September, only numerous statues and sculptures, including famous composer and pianist "Arno Babajanyan Statue". On winter months, an ice skating ring occupies the lake, bringing crowds to this important attraction in Yerevan's "Kentron District". Restaurants, bars, cafés and beer gardens complete the scene around "Swan Lake". Enjoy!

I went there so often during my stay in Yerevan, how amazing is this little lake and the park around.
It is a good place for reading book since there is no fountain there to disturb concentration but the way how birds sing there is lovely

Second highest lake in the world with mesmerising deep blue water , a peninsula with monasteries and 2 churches , some sport activities including swimming in summers and excellent food. Must visit for one day and there is some accommodation also for camping and nature lovers

Not a swan in sight, this is simply a nice enough, smallish pond surrounded by bars and cafes near the more impressive Opera building. Not worth making a special effort to see it. It is on the way to a part of the city with many good restaurants.

It is a beautiful place to sit around the lake, or in one of the cafes, have coffee and relax and enjoy the peaceful time.

It's like a pool you cannot swim in. Artificial. There are lots of bars at the lake, but they are all way too expensive.

The areas around the lake are lovely but the lake is just a lake in the middle of a tourist trap of cafes with extortionate proces.

We visited Yerevan during the winter, so all water attractions and ponds were drained to preserve the facilities from frost. However, a part of the swan lake was converted to an ice rink, and there were a lot of skaters there as well as watchers in the park surrounding the lake/rink.
