- Nicole2701Blackwood, United Kingdom510 contributionsWorth the tripWe got a taxi here and back as neither are confident on the roads with a bike but wasn’t too bad 800,000vnd return sorted out by out hotel. The journey is about 45 minutes from nha Trang centre. The place itself is beautiful, very well signposted so you don’t get lost and lots to see. They have water sports there and 2 restaurants. There are plenty of picture opportunities on swings etc. the waterfalls themselves are easy to find but after the first one it does get a bit tricky with ropes and bolted in ladders to help you get past the tricky parts so as long as you take your time it’s easy and worth doing. It’s open until 4:30 so you can make a day of it and it wasn’t busy at all when we were there which is a nice bonus!Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 December 2022
- Denise T2 contributionsAsk for Benny!Benny, our tour guide, was the best. Very knowledgeable, accommodating, and knows the best places for Banh Mi and refreshing drinks. The car was brand new! Lunch was delicious, order off the menu, unlike some tours where the meals are planned ahead. Definitely recommend if you have limited time in Nhà Trang and ask for Benny!Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 July 2023
- Lucia13 contributionsFun half day tourWe had a lot of fun on this trip, our guide Yasin ( english speaking ) was very thorough in his explanation of the day, what to expect, safety of belongings , even down to where to jump in the water . He took photos of us and gave us bottled water. We walked and swam at three locations all relatively close to each other ,and had some free time to chill. We walked back to the van and drove to town for lunch .Got back in at 1pm . Definitely worth doingVisited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 September 2023
- Natalie I3 contributionsSmall place of paradiseWow!!!! Exactly what we came for. An absolutely beautiful amazing place in the world definitely worth going to!!! We had read reviews and the signs that no kids under 10 should do it. Whilst you should definitely be physically fit (we have twins 6 yr olds, 8 yr old and 9 yr old), and decided to give it a go. Our kids have climbed to the top of all the mountains in South Africa, HOWEVER after a debate, and watching our kids climb with the water gushing directly underneath them, whilst the 8 and 9 yr old would manage going further than the first pool, we decided that to go to the second pool would or could be dangerous for the twin 6 yr olds so decided not to. There had been a lot of rain and they'd only just reopened the waterfall two days before our visit. We were also very anxious because whilst we were swimming in the first pool, we saw one woman in the corner of the second pool get sucked between the waterfall pools by the strong current and wedged in between rocks with a sheer drop to our pool. If it wasn't for 2/3 other people there (and the fact she was wedged and hadn't dropped), she would certainly have drowned or injured herself seriously / fatally. (Actually quite horrifying to watch and she looked traumatised when she passed us on the way down). The water also dragged us even in the first pool so check for the current and drops in depth (which are sudden) before even letting kids go in. This was probably the season we came in (November 23). Other than that, if you have no kids, it's a must!!! If you do, just be careful WHEN you visit. Breathtakingly beautiful ❤️Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 November 2023

Off the beaten track , but local taxi best way there. Great to cool off and climb is adventurous. Have been to better waterfalls. Water is dirty in appearance but have been due to lack of rain fall.

Tip Set your Google map directions, As some Taxi Drivers, Will take the long way, As often as possible,,,Ours did anyway, till we got wise to him! No big deal as we saw extra stuff, And it was quite funny telling him the right way to go.
Anyway, Even if 2 persons, I'd still go by Taxi, as they dont mind waiting 2 Hours, If doing the full 3 pools, And having a good jump in / swim while there.
The 3rd pool is not for wimps, some of the climbs, to get there are INTERESTING, to put it mildly. But with care easier than it looks.
Luckily, At the 3rd pool we had it to ourselves, And the rocks, you climb up to dive bomb in, were dry. I was a wimp to start with, so started on the lower ledge, to test it. after that did several jumps off the upper one, There is a rock to the left, Which is easy to avoid when jumping,,,Keep your knees bent.
We did some great videos and pics.
100% recommend

We had a wonderful excursion to Ba Ho with Tu from Vitamin Sea travel. Our family hiked to all 3 lakes with Tu providing helpful advice along the way. We loved jumping into the water from the cliffs and swings and experiencing being under the waterfall. Tu had just the right balance of giving us info / direction and letting us experience Ba Ho for ourselves. He also took us for a delicious chicken rice lunch afterwards and even organised a birthday cake for my husband. Plus, Bing the driver that Tu organised was very safe. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

This is probably the most fun waterfall to visit in Vietnam though parts of it are not for the faint of heart! I see that many people have booked tours to this place but we just hired a driver for the day and set an itinerary. It worked out quite well. Ba Ho waterfall is really a park with a series of waterfalls, pools and a river for swimming, playing, picnicking and even bungalows to stay over. The park is really suffering from the lack of tourism in the area and from the fact that it's a bit distant from the center of town meaning that people won't just stumble on it without some effort. But DO MAKE THE EFFORT. It's totally worth it.
There are absolutely different difficultly levels in the different areas. The lowest level is great for kids. I think kids and less than very fit people can probably make it to the first pool at the base of the first waterfall you reach along the trail. After that, there's a lot of climbing and not steps...climbing - scrambling with ropes and iron steps and bars drilled into the rock. It's INTENSE. This is the sort of place that would have you sign a waiver, wear PPE or - just not be allowed in many parts of the world. But, we climbed all the way to the top of the marked path through the rocks and swam in all of the pools. It's all very tranquil right now since there are so few customers.
But, while Nha Trang is certainly known for its beaches, this is really a top attraction.

Is this recommended with kids? Would love to go with the family (4 kids range from 5-12), but want it to be enjoyable for all.

The walk from entrance to first lake is an enjoyable stroll for all. Lake 1 to 2 is a bit more difficult, would suit guest for 8 year old and above and Lake 2 to 3 for 12 year old up. However, while the older ones go for the adventure hike the younger ones have plenty to do if supervised.
Good luck

There is no real security or parking. There is just a field to park with cabdrivers waiting. Few 100m, there is a cashier only. I would leave everything in the hotel save!

김세현, 안녕하세요. 이 관광명소에 대해 어떤 것을 알고 싶으신가요?
To climb to the diving spot, how long does it take and how hard it is if four adults, not good at rock climbing.
2. Is the water not so clean? I read some reviews which mention that we shouldn't expect clean water there.
