I had to make a choice for the mudbath and chose this for the theme, that was a good decision but the chinese tourists just ruined my experience with their manners.

Is not the pricing issue. When checking in, is still feel OK. The changing room is not in good condition. And the whole floor is wet and the locker is too high for somebody.
5hne when after change suit, found terrible experience started.
Female and male is sharing the same area no matter is mud bath or cleaning the body after mud bath. Then the serving staffs are mostly as guy.
Then for the jacuzzi, sharing as well. When I went there, the jacuzzi all is male, then is weird if we join.
Really not worth for the pricing for this kind of service and facilities.

I never knew people can make money out of mud ??!! We were never planning to go to this so-called “theme park” as we just wanted to have a relaxing massage and our local guide recommended this place which is just a tourist trap. The whole place is full of mainland Chinese tourists and is far from relaxing. We were of course not interested in the eggs and the thoughts of emerging your body in unknown mud under 30C temperature is just a joke. So we all booked massage which only costs VND 400,000. The massage is very average by international standards and the 3 therapists were chatting non stop throughout the process which just made you mad. With the immense crowd, we just left the place after our treatment. Perhaps this is more a place for children and if you fancy swimming with hundreds and thousands of Chinese tourists, then this is the right place for you.

My family and I went to "Egg Land", as we call it, for a day of swimming and relaxation. We live in Nha Trang, so we didn't feel like we had to experience all of Egg Land in one day. This was a good thing, since we were able to just pay for access to the pool and mineral jacuzzi portions without also paying for the mud bath or spa features. The pools kept our four children busy for the whole day and we were thankful that the children's pool is covered from the bright sun. The pool and Egg Land provided a nice alternative to a day at the beach or one of the beach pools, and it somehow seemed less touristy. There were far fewer people in the morning, so get there early to beat the crowds! It says not to bring your own food, but we did and were not given a hard time at all. We did purchase pizzas and beer from the food counter, though, which were the only thing that wasn't super overpriced. What you'd expect from a theme park, no surprise there. We'll be back to try the mud baths a different day!

Grand place to go for something to do. It has friendly staff and helpful staff, clean changing rooms, pools are nice etc but won’t necessarily add to your Vietnamese cultural experience 🤭

Nice place for a day out. Go early to avoid crowd and lots of areas to explore. Currently expanding will turn out to be a great park.

An ok day with lots of eggs to see. Took a mud bath but was sad that the photographer was to lazy to take our photo in the baths. Enjoyed the pool. Same as any other pool. Nothing to get excited about.

My boyfriend and I visited this place for a nice half-day excursion. It was at his recommendation because he had visited this place before so I said yes. It’s kind of hidden away but the park itself is very cute. We bought the couples package which includes the mud bath, massage (100min), and fruit/tea all for 1,400,000VND total (700,000 per person). The mud bath was interesting, it’s something I had never done before so it was nice. We rented bathing suits, it was kind of uncomfortable but it was fine for the mud bath. The mud bath makes your skin quite soft. After that we showered, but the showers are kind of...ratchet is probably the best way to describe but it does the job. Afterwards we went to go do our massage. The massage was also okayish. I’d say it’s a get-what-you-pay-for sort of situation. I’ve had better done. The person who did me was kind of rough and at times it hurt a lot. Afterwards we hit the steam room and then rinsed off again and went back to our hotel.
Overall, it was alright. I think it is a nice experience to have once but I don’t think I would go again. It gets really crowded after 1:00ish because a bunch of tour buses come in with lots of tourists so it gets really loud and crowded especially at the pools. I’d recommend coming a little sooner especially if you plan on using the public facilities like the pools. We arrived at 11:30am and managed to have an experience without too much disruption or noise overload. Also for foreigners who don’t speak Vietnamese, it will probably be a little difficult to navigate the place by yourselves and know how to do what; luckily my boyfriend is from Vietnam and he’d been to this park before so I managed to use the facilities just fine with his help.

Prior to our trip of SE Asia, I did some research and was fascinated how this mud bath experience would be like in that part of the globe. We had experienced mud baths before in the hot springs of Sonoma County which is about an hour drive from San Francisco but it could be very expensive.
The cruise ship offered the mud-bath as one of their side trips for US$79 per but you only get the ride, the mud-bath and a meal. So, when the ship arrived in the shallow waters of Nha Trang, Vietnam, we had to use a tender (a smaller boat) to reach the port.
A few meters out of the port, we used Grab (very popular ride-sharing in SE Asia) to take us to the resort and the 10 to 15-minute ride in a nice Toyota van only cost the 6 of us about US$7 (the actual amount was Vietnamese Dong 145,000).
We’re there on a Tuesday but the resort was particularly busy and full of tourists – most of them from mainland China and Taiwan.
A lanky staff who speaks good English appeared when he saw us probably confused with all the signs and ushered to a wall where he explained the mud bath experience with different kinds of massages in the spa bundled as a package - they were clearly marked and priced. We opted for the VND 1,300,000 (about US$ 57) package for 2 persons. At, about US$29 per, it was an absolute bargain!
It included the resort entrance fee, lockers, towels as well as bathing suits/trunks if you don’t have one, the 20-25-minute mud-bath experience and a full hour of massage.
After we had paid, he led us inside and showed where we would have the mud-bath and the massage afterwards.
Along the way, we saw that it was a rather huge resort with numerous pools for both adults and kids, restaurant, shops, a small zoo as well as other resort facilities if you just have time to explore the sprawling place.
The mud-bath experience is done inside an egg-shaped metal cubicle that is filled with a thin mixture of mud & water using a hose smaller than what firefighters use. The mud mix is very thin that you can’t apply and spread the mix into your body and face. Time is up after about 20 to 25 minutes.
There’s a “sunning area” where you’re supposed to dry-out the mud-mix on your body to render the mud’s therapeutic effect. But it was overcast in Nha Trang that day so we decided to just shower and clean-off our soiled bodies.
I recommend to use the 2 alleys where jet streams of warm water shoot from the sides before showering off any remaining dirt using the open-air overhead showers.
After we had collected our belongings from the lockers, we moved on to the nearby spa area for our massages. We had to wait for available masseuses so a lady led us to the steam room – towels were handed out- to get us prepared. There’s another locker room available to stow away your belongings.
The massages were done in a rather big room with a capacity for 4 persons. Each bed is separated by curtains. Soothing music pervades the room with just the right volume to enjoy the relaxing massage for an entire hour. The massage alone is well worth the price we paid.
Too bad that we had not enough time to use the other resort facilities as well as to explore the other areas of this ‘theme park’ in Nha Trang, as we had to catch our ship back at the port.
Overall, in spite of the big crowd, we had an enjoyable and relaxing time at the 100 Eggs Resort. If you're taking a cruise to Vietnam, Nha Trang will definitely be one of the ports of call. So, just do trip on your own and save a lot of money.

hi. I have been looking at Na trang and it looks to me like the Gold Coast of Vietnam. Is this place less touristy and relaxing without the tourist hype?
Shelly967
Perth, Australia158 contributions
It certainly isn't the Gold Coast in fact far from it. It is very busy with a lot of tourists in particular Russian and Asian tourists. If you book into a resort away from the hustle and bustle it will be relaxing however just be aware that some of the resosrts are a cab fare away and not walking distance to the centre of Nah Trang. Personally I think 3 - 4 days in Nha Trang is enough as there is not alot to do.
