This beach is mostly natural, there is almost nobody here at this time of the year. For sure at a natural beach, where mostly fishers land with their boats, some waste is washed up in the sand. We took a walk, which was nice and afterwards settled down at the new Century beach facilities. No entry fee, some possibilities to sit at the beach, plus a bar and restaurant. They seem to build a ressort here in future.
I'd come here again for some relaxation, but it's not a special paradise beach, like some reviews might make you expect.

Some parts of the beach really are full of junk, but just keep on walking until you find the part that's not and you'll love it. Nice white sand that streches for miles and warm sea, to do while in Hue

The beach was surprisingly quiet and clean when I went. It is a long, long stretch of unspoiled natural soft sand beach with some laid back restaurants - excellent

We stayed here end of Oct 18 (low season) so the area was quite quiet. We had this beach to ourselves, so it was lovely and peaceful and also very clean..don't know what it would be like in high season but we found it to be very pretty and perfect for a 3 day break

Thuan An Beach is located in Thuan An Town, Phu Vang District, Thua Thien Hue Province is one of the beautiful beaches, attracting a lot of tourists coming to poetic Hue city. Until today, this beach still remains its pristine beauty.
Thuan An Beach is located 15km from Hue city center, so it only takes about 15 minutes by taxi or half an hour by motorbike to admire the beauty of this place. I booked a taxi on Dichung taxi, luckily our driver was very punctual and thoughtful, we had a nice experience.
Both 1km of Thuan An beach still retains its pristine appearance with long stretches of white sand and clear blue sea. Although tourism services here have not been developed as much as Lang Co but it still attracts many visitors to explore. Camping overnight on the coast would definitely be a memorable experience.
Spending one day at Thuan An Hue beach, you will have the opportunity to admire the colorful changes of the immense sea. When the east parted the first rays of sunlight, the entire sea was dyed with a golden color. At this time, you will be immersed in the vibrant, bustling but also very familiar atmosphere of the seafood trading activities. After a trip to the sea, the boats full of fish and shrimp returned in joy and excitement.
When the sun had risen, the sea surface was immense with glittering silver waves. Then in the afternoon, we will admire a beautiful picture of the sunset on the sea - a priceless gift from mother nature. Although not many services have been developed, when coming to Thuan An beach, you can enjoy the fresh taste of seafood caught by local people.

To the beach is wery easy to go. Take a city bus number 3 it cost only 8 000d. After 20 min driving you are end of buss line. Go out bus station/stop. turn left and then right and you already see the beach. Water is glear and good for swiming because it deeps guick. Beach have some restaurant

Enjoyed this beach everyday during my stay at Dong Hai Hotel. Water was clear and warm. The sand was amazingly white. Not so touristy, so that was nice.

Hot and humid weather, just wonderful to swim in warm water and big waves. Beach was not clean, and there was lot of people and some dogs pooping.

Love this beach because it is not very touristy like other beaches in Vietnam. The sand is nice! It has a golden color. I am not a fan of black sand beach. If you are hungry after swimming in the ocean, you can buy and eat some "banh loc". It is tapioca dumpling filled with shrimpe and pork, wrapped in banana leave.

I was here last April and I really didn’t have high expectations due to some bad reviews in TripAdvisor regarding the cleanness of the water. I have to say that I was quiet impressed; the sea water was clean and clear and the beach was decent too. This place is not heavily touristy, in fact the whole beach was practically ours which is something we like because we don’t like crowded places. There are no umbrellas on the beach but you can rent them from the restaurants and they’ll install them for you. The restaurants are not fancy or anything and don’t expect beach service either because there isn’t. I suggest bringing a cooler as the beach is very wide so you will need to walk a bit to get refreshments from the restaurants. Overall it was a lovely experience but this place may not be for everyone; I think it’s perfect for couples who want a bit of privacy to enjoy the beauty of nature.
