One of the few tours available in Hue is the dragon boat ride down the Perfume River. The river gets prettier as the boat nears the temples and tombs on the circuit. We felt harassed to spend money everywhere though, and all we wanted was...More

Very clean, way cleaner that we have seen in ho chi minh, for example. Nice to take a talk and perfect weather in january.

We took a boat to the Thien Mu Pagoda and in that sense it worked but as a scenic river or even seeing the source of its name, forget it. Also the crew thought we were a captive market place.

The portion of the Perfume River that we traveled on in a dragon boat was not very blue but rather very brown in color. However, the scenery on the section leading to the Thien Mu Pagoda is quite picturesque and tranquil.

I love cities with rivers, Perfume river is surrounded by a serie of parks in both sides, a night market and great views of the motorbikes flow :)

The dragon boat ride was nothing special and the Parfum River didn’t provide any special views for my camera. Very disappointing!

Aside from the central part of Hue, this isn't a very scenic cruise, although it did take us to Thien Mu & Minh Mang. Like travelling Vietnam by car, it takes a long time to not get very far.

It was quite interesting when walking along this river. I also took a boat trip, and it was great. The view was also quite good to see.

It’s great to take a walk along the river and see the sites or even take the river boat cruise if you have the time. They are a bit pushy but just name your price and let the negotiations begin.

Hi there - I didn't do the cooking experience so I can't help you I'm afraid - I did notice on all tours and courses that costs vary wildly depending on whether you book it yourself or if you go through a hotel. Have fun! Ben
