You can visit this temple when you visit Thien Mu pagoda. It's just 1 km from the pagoda. Rarely do visitors visit it because they don't know it. Just some student come here to pray for good luck in the exam. But I think it's really a must try in Hue

This is well worth a visit, which was made on the spur of a moment during the Tet Festival of 2016, and were lucky enough to be introduced to the head monk who gave us some lucky money. Very calm and peaceful with the smell of incense everywhere. A bit like the Forbidden City in Beijing with all the vacant... More

Located at the left side of the main Citadel, it is the most peaceful part of the Citadel. Very Beautiful and less crowded. This Temple act as an ancestral temple to Vietnam's emperors in the Imperial City. The architecture itself is very impressive and really worth the walk.

Inside is an altar for each of the 10 Nguyen emperors, the first emperor of the dynasty and... More

The Mieu Temple although slightly restored is an impressive monument to the emperors of Vietnam. The building itself is beautiful holding a shrine the emperors, including their pictures. The restoration is very well done and captures the peacefulness that is needed for such a shrine.
