Hue City Small Group Tour (Max 12 Pax)

11 reviews
Rather than exploring as part of a huge group, receive personalized attention on a small-group tour of Hue, the historical capital of Vietnam. Ideal for first-time visitors and time-pressed travelers, this tour transports you between dispersed landmarks, including the Thien Mu Pagoda and the far-flung Tomb of Khai Dinh, and ensures you benefit from the insider knowledge of your guide.

Great hidden gem for some fantastic photos. Only thing is, it's hard to get into as they have 'security' on the front gate that tell you that you cannot go in due to health and safety. Before you get to the gate, there is a dirt track on the left, & there will be a woman there asking you to pay to park (don't pay her, just park a little further down the road!). If you walk down the dirt track (and the trees) & make a right it will lead you straight to the dragon slide. If you use google maps it's easy to find. We got there easy enough & the security guard said no, until I said we only wanted to take pictures & wouldn't be long he said we could stay if we paid him 20,000VND each (0.86USD), we only have 10,000VND in cash which he settled for so maybe don't carry too much with you so you can 'give all you have'. We stayed there for around 40 minutes. Had a good wander round. There was loads of other tourists that came the same way as us so it's obviously not 'off limits'. Just be polite & understanding & 'security' are happy to let you stay with no trouble.

Thủy Tiên Lake Abandoned Park is about 9km from the Hue city center about 30 mins drive by motorbike. It is on the way with Khải Định tomb. So you can spend half and half day for 2 attractive places.

It was such a nice place to visit but it was hard to get in because it seems to be forbidden to visit. We paid the guard at the entrance to get in. It is an abandoned water park with nice surroundings.

Really cool. Has gotten more touristy over the years. But still an amazing site. Organise transport out we didn’t but the guard was nice enough to call us a taxi. Being bug spray

The place is really amazing! Feels like some post-apocalyptic world. In theory, the entrance is forbidden, but guides charge you 20k dongs and let you enter the forest. After 10 min walk you will get to the dragon statue. Slides and swimming pools are hidden further in the forest
