Saigon Square is an above ground indoor Market. It is more up bet than the Ben Market. Not as crowed, more up market good.

I agree with the other reviews here, this market is a little cheaper than the BTM, air conditioned and I found the vendors more polite. Checkout some of my purchases in the image; three great bags, two wallets and a watch very happy with it all. The pink fluorescent bag is a very difficult colour to find looked all over... More

I enjoyed shopping for some good stuff to take home for my kids and friends such us nice bags, clothes and other sauveners. Very affordable and you can choose quality jeans , shirts, dress, bags, etc etc.. You can take home a bunch of things for only 100-200 USD.

Good shopping area in Vietnam. Cheap priced items, some are even cheaper than BTM. Just be sure to compare prices before buying.

This is an airconditioned(versus Ben Thanh Market) bargain shopping mall. You can see a lot of knock offs of Northface, Kipling, Kate Kidston etc bags. Go around first and compare prices and then bargain the price down. Do not buy at first glance check the zippers and all the sewn edges before buying. The aisle are narrow, keep your bags close... Items are really overpriced but at least its comfortable place to shop. If you previously shopped in ben than market, you probably noticed prices are a tad cheaper here. But unlike Ben than, you cannot shop bargain here or at least they won't. Maybe because they needed to pay their rent. Products sold are actually the same in Ben Than.

Personally i would recommend anyone to go to Saigon Square to buy cheap tshirts, bags or any clothes with embroidery (as compared to Ben Thanh market). It is more comfortable than Ben Thanh market because it is air conditioned. The place is also across the Mekong Quilt. I just walked from Ben Thanh to Saigon Square and it took me... More

This mall is pretty huge. On six floors, if I remember correctly, you find almost everything you can thing of. And of course it's air conditioned, so easy staying here

It's a better market in terms of price and comfort, but overall the items or sale are still pretty average and overpriced. If you want to shop in Vietnam I would choose Saigon Square but really it's not a bad idea to just skip the markets completely.
