This Centre used to be a popular stop for people visiting the nearby Cu Chi tunnels. In 2016 the government Forest Protection Service took over operation and management from the NGO previously running it. The Centre is still in a period of reorganisation and I recommend you do NOT visit. All the bears and most of the other animals have... More

I was really looking forward to visiting this place during my recent trip to HCMC. I emailed the Wildlife At Risk NGO that was co-operating the facility with the Forestry Department of the Vietnam Gov't and requested a visit. Unfortunately, the staff of WAR were all kicked out by the FD and they have no idea how the animals are... More

The information listed on trip advisor is wrong, the URL and phone number is for a travel agent. You need to cal ahead to make sure someone is going to be there. If you go a Google search for Cu CHi wildlife Rescue you will find the telephone number to call. Also, the map location is completely wrong, its North... More

We visited here after we went to the Cu Chi Tunnels and it was so worth the stop. It seemed like we were the only ones there so enjoyed a private tour. Definitely stop here if you are going to Cu Chi.

I was at CCWRS yesterday and was not permitted entry. The facility has had an outbreak of some sort and will be off limits to visitors for at least 2 months. An employee came outside the closed gates and informed us. Obviously the souvenir shop is a no go too. Hope all goes well for them. I will post some... More

We had a private tour of the centre and it was the most fabulous experience. The staff were so friendly and all the animals looked happy and well looked after. It was very sad to hear/see how many of the animals had lost limbs via poachers traps and could never be re-released into the wild but the centre does release... More

My wife and I love animals, more than some humans actually 🙊so we are spending two weeks volunteering here and it is simply one of the best experiences of our lives. As a volunteer you will be hands on. You'll be preparing food for the monkeys, the bears, the mouse dear, the ant eater... You'll be feeding them all twice... More

My boyfriend and I visited the Wildlife Rescue Station shortly after we arrived in HCMC. Our driver had some trouble finding the site, so we arrived nearly half an hour late. Lam informed us that our tour would them be shorter than planned, which was fair enough; we were grateful to still be able to enter. We were incredibly impressed... More
