I can't say enough good things about Vi and the experience she curated for me. Having never been to Vietnam I had very little idea of what to do and how to go about my time there, so Vi customised the day to suit what I enjoy. Vi was referred to me by a client and mutual friend that visited... More

Had the opportunity to have Vi show me around to some of the well known and some of the not so well known spots. Excellent way to learn of the local history and culture. Excellent!

This is the second time I have used Vi's services. On a long haul stop over in 2014 she was able to give me an excellent taste of what Saigon had to offer when I had only 12 hours to spare. This time she was able to give us a very personalised tour of the Mekong Delta. Vi has good... More

Can't thank Vi enough for tailoring such great tours to our personal tastes. Our first day with Vi she provided culture and history, taking us to off the beaten path spots and adding locations that were important to us to see. On the 2nd day, we toured the Mekong Delta with little stops at different local businesses and ended the... More

We were a group of 4 on a recent cruise stop in Vietnam. We were met at the port by Vi, our guide for the day. In a word, Vi was excellent. She gave us a view of Ho Chi Minh City that was genuinely local, unique and interesting. Vi provided excellent commentary about Vietnam and the sights we visited,... More

My brother and I just completed two incredible days in Saigon with Vi and are very grateful to have discovered her. From her first suggestion of the best hotels to stay in the city to her flexibility in accommodating our unique travel needs and interests to her keen and excellent understanding of the English language (and my brothers off sense... I visited Vietnam recently and I wanted to see the south of the country particularly Saigon and The Meekong. Lose the tie was suggested to me and came highly recommended. I was not disappointed!! In fact I would say that my tour guide was exceptionally well informed and friendly. We saw all the sights in Saigon and the war sights... More

I used Lose The Tie Tour (LtTT) initially for an extensive tour of HCMC - to get to know the city first hand (for two full days). The booking agent and two tour guides took care to find out what things I was interested in seeing and learning and then planned the custom tour to my needs. That tour went... More

Vi is a fantastic host and guide. Nothing is too much trouble for her and her knowledge both pratical and historical of Saigon and Vietnam in particular is second to none. She is always looking to go that extra mile to get you the best tour experience and has a very broad knowledge that suits all tastes and schedules. Whether... More

Vi is an excellent guide. I did a whole day with her to the Cuchi tunnels and the War Remnants Museum. She is nice company and knowledgeable. Her choice of lunch restaurant was also excellent - high quality local Vietnamese food in a beautiful setting. I would thoroughly recommend her.
