Intriguing place. enjoyed walking through the tunnels and learning the tactics used. The gunshots in the background (from shooting range) added to the feel of the place

Lost some of its authenticity by commercial aspects ( e.g. shooting range ) most definitely worth visiting. Be aware, takes a while to get there - count at least 1.5 hours ( congestion in HCMC )

I've always had an interest in the history of the Vietnam War so this was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was very nice but didn't have great English and was a bit difficult to understand sometimes, but that was okay; it was still a...More

The tunnels that defeated a super power. You can get the VC experience as you sample what it must have been like in the hot dark tunnels. Thankfully no one is trying to blow you up. After crawling through mud and dirt, you can celebrate...More

These tunnels are a marvellous piece of engineering when you consider they are 3 stories deep in some places. How anyone could have lived for long periods in this environment is hard to imagine. The way they got air into the tunnels by putting bamboo...More

This place has long been on the list of places I'd like to visit given the modern history of Vietnam, and it didn't disappoint. A hot and humid day gets sweatier if you try the tunnels. It helps if you're built like the skinny local...More

If there is one thing you want to visit in Vietnam, this is it! You can actually go down in a tunnel if you're not afraid of narrow spaces...Also good explications of the situation there during the war.

This was an impressive experience for me. The place of Cu chi tunnel is quite difficult to access. The transportation is not very convenience. So, you may join one day or half day local tour to there. BTW, the travel hour from down town to...More

The tunnels were very interesting to see, go down in and listen to how the VC lived and worked in the tunnels during the war. Best to book a guided tour so that things can be explained to you.

We hired a private car and guide and left at 7am and back before midday. Good thing getting to the Cu Chi tunnels too is not many people there and less pressure in and out if the tunnels etc. Cost us about $75 NZD each

Why pay for a tour ? talk to your hotel about hiring a 7 seater taxi on a daily rate, which we did and it cost AUD$55.00 for the whole day, tours are a pain in the A$$, much more convenient quicker and cheaper to do it... More
