About
On your guided tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, you’ll learn about the history of this underground system. The tunnels were dug during the Vietnam War by Viet Cong soldiers as a way to move undetected and launch surprise attacks. Experience the tight squeeze firsthand by crawling through the tunnels, and fire assault rifles at the shooting range after. Pack bug spray and dress for hot and humid weather, arriving earlier in the day to beat the crowds and the afternoon sun. It's not recommended to visit the tunnels after a downpour, as the area will get very muddy.

    Cu Chi Tunnels with Kim Travel
    Great trip to Cu Chi tunnels. Guide Nhu was really good. Very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about Vietnamese life past and present. Really informative trip. Thought provoking and emotional! Fun as well, going into the tunnels. Good value for money, well recommended 👍

    Go by speedboat is faster
    We did a morning speedboat tour to Cu Chi Tunnels takes about 1 hour on the boat with fresh air & tropical fruits. It was crowed but worthy because hearing about the history, how they did the tunnels and hide the soil. We tried to enter the secret entrance but could not fit! So be aware of that

    Informative, well laid out, and an all round great exhibition. Provides a great deal of visual evidence of how the tunnels operated, the traps they set and daily life for the Vietcong during the war. A great was to spend a couple of hours. Did you decide to go through the tunnels you must have done level of fitness to do this and definitely don’t do it if your claustrophobic.

    2 Hours Drive from City . Not scenic. Crowded Roads The Place is immaculate and well maintained Must do the Walkin in tunnel . they have 2 options : 40 M and 60 M Need to Crawl at somepoints but fun

    Informative and interactive
    Fascinating and interactive tour which shows some aspects of the ingenuity that the VC used to win the war. It takes 1-1.5 hours to drive there from central HCM city. Go early if you can, it gets very busy.

    This is different types of tunnels in ho Chi Minh city How soilder walk and passes through from this you can experience. Take care for going inside is must like you have to band and walk. It's may be 20 meters/40meters that comes out from other side. Must visit place.

    Not a must but a should see
    Vietcong tunnels were an important part of Vietnam history. As tourist highlight spots are somehow rare in Vietnam, visiting the tunnels is one of such highlights. Everything there is well organized but lacks a bit of intellectual substance. Operating a shooting range there fits somehow into the image of lack of style.

    Our guide at the Tunnels was fantastic, I wish I had his name. His explanations of the underground existence were enthralling and to be able to go inside was remarkable. The small spaces aren't for everyone, particularly if you suffer from claustrophobia but if you are willing and able to explore down there they are eye opening.

    A must-see
    We visited here with my tour group. I had a reasonable knowledge about the tunnels before-hand, but to actually visit them was really good. Our guide was extremely informative - and I learned a great deal more from the visit. We spent about 2 hours here.

    You can learne a lot aboout Vietnamese war and got to go through the narrow tunnels. Nice place to visit for half day from Ho Chi Minh. You can combine with Ho Chi Minh city tour

A place to learn about the War!

We enjoyed our private tour to visit the Cuchi tunnels. Good to learn about Vietnam War and how Vietnamese could win over USA.

A must whilst in Ho Chi Minh City
Exploring the site and seeing how the Viet Cong dealt with the American Army was very informative. How they survived underground, the traps they used. I also loved the trip to the shelter where victims of Agent Orange and their descendants are making a living with disabilities. Our coach was very comfortable and our tour guide was excellent.

Leaves one subdued at what man will do to man

Good tour guide who explained the whole setup well. Bomb holes, man traps, tunnels etc all well displayed. Gunshots were a bit hard on the ears - would be better if the waiting area was further away. Good meal at the end.

The Best Travel

It was a truly enlightening experience witnessing firsthand the conditions of the tunnels and the unwavering determination of the fighters residing in them. Our guide, whose grandfather had fought in these tunnels, provided us with exceptionally distinctive perspectives. If you have an interest in the Vietnam War, visiting this site is imperative. Additionally, there is a shrine honoring the local individuals who sacrificed their lives in the fight. Remember to remove your shoes before entering.

One of the most incredible things you can do in Vietnam is to go explore the original tunnels. The history of it is really interesting. You are able to physically enter the tunnel, fire the genuine gun using real ammunition, and learn about the history of the location. You simply must go. It is my recommendation that you go in a party of fewer than ten persons so that we can make the most efficient use of our time.

Where traps for enemies await!

This remarkable network of underground tunnels, built by the Vietnamese during the Vietnam War, is a must-see destination. It's an amazing experience to explore the tunnels, seeing the various traps set up for enemies and the kitchen used to cook meals. It's a great way to learn more about the history of the war and the Vietnamese people.

What an Eye Opener

I am not very knowledgeable about the Vietnam wars so this was a huge learning experience. It was fascinating to learn about the history and the extent of the tunnels. I have more understanding as to the nature of the war and how difficult it was for both sides. This exposure has really sparked my interest to learn more. To be able to go into a tunnel for just a few minutes gave a whole new insight. This is history coming alive.
