If only these walls could talk. Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar on the top floor of the hotel is one of the few remaining bars in our rapidly-developing city with such a long and colourful history to tell. Way before sky bars, craft beer and social media became ‘things’, drinks flowed uninterrupted at Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar from the very first moment the hotel opened way back in 1959. Not even a war could prevent thirsty politicians, journalists and soldiers from risking a sneaky happy hour beer on the patio and balconies that overlook the city and along one of its most famous and historical streets. These days, of course, the risks for guests are nowhere near the same and many things have changed. But one thing that hasn’t, is Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar’s exceptional service and its special places in the heart of our city where modernity and history continue to collide.

This is always my favorite place for relax. The view was wonderful from the balcony especially at 5:30pm when you can see sunset and night lights. Cocktails are amazing, I recommend " Asian Legend and Miss Saigon ". Live music start around 9pm till late, a bit too loud but anyway it's good :)

Saigon Saigon Rooftop Bar at the Caravelle Hotel is a perfect spot to unwind with a drink while enjoying views of Ho Chi Minh City. The happy hour is well worth it, and the Miss Saigon cocktails were especially good. As a history buff, I sought the bar out due to its connection to the Vietnam War era, when journalists gathered here. The real standout was the service from Uyen. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great time. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel welcome from the start. This is a top spot for a drink in the city, made even better by Uyen’s excellent service.

The service staff is cheerful and professional. The space is airy and has a view of the city, the drinks come out quickly and are delicious. Next time I will come here with friends or family to experience it, especially every day at 9pm there is a band singing live music.

We had a great experience at this amazing rooftop bar. Our host Uyen was very accomodating and made us feel so comfortable. Thank you Uyen!
The drinks are delicious and it was such an experience to drink them at such a historically significant bar watching out over the city. Best time to visit is 5-7pm for happy hour and half price drinks!

This historic rooftop bar in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City is a treasure of the city. Remaining basically unchanged from its opening, through the course of the Vietnam war, until today. Tu brought exceptional service and along with the spectacular views of the city made the experience once in a life time.

Saigon Saigon remains one of the top bars in District 1. The team always provides a warm welcome, especially Uyen. You can enjoy a refreshing drink on the beautiful terrace, which offers a stunning view of the bustling streets below. For a quieter and more relaxed experience, visit before dark to savor the sunset and the gradual rise of the evening buzz. Personally, I love coming here during the rainy season, feeling the wind grow stronger and fresher before a thunderstorm.

This rooftop bar is very historic.
Make sure you take in the history on the walls leading up the stair case and around the room.
Excellent inside and outside balcony.
The views over the city are spectacular, the bar is open and friendly with a great selection of drinks.

We were looking for a beautiful rooftop bar in our short stay in Ho Chi Minh. This place hit it out of the park! Beautiful and historic and extremely well priced especially with the happy hour discount. I am interested in stay at Saigon Saigon during this New Year's Eve (December 31th at 11:00pm) and see the fireworks as well. As I think the bar will be very crowded this day, I ask you:
- Is it necessary to reserve a table? If so, how can I do this? Do you know if this year there will be the fireworks at the Bitexco Tower?

The Saigon Saigon bar is part of the Caravelle Hotel. You may be able to a get a booking there for the New Year. I there were about have been in Saigon for the New Year and the Chinese New Year and both have been a really great experience. I preferred to be on the street for the celebrations where there are about 9 millions people who travel from all over centre. The Saigon Saigon bar overlooks the square where it goes on but I would say it would be difficult to get a good position by the windows. There are fireworks galore and I have never had a better New Year experience anywhere in the world.
The Chinese New Year is much of the same and these people really enjoy it.
