We had our hotel book the tickets. The theatre was really full so you have to book early. It was quiet entertaining to watch the puppets even though we had no clue what they were singing or saying. Really talented puppeteers

We were quite enjoyed the show from the begin until the end. It might be a little bit difficult to understand the show due to different background. It was truly delightful from the traditional music to the delightful puppets and stories

This was my first visit ti HCMC, so we went to see this cultural event. Saw another one in the park in Hanoi which was way nicer (and free). So, if you haven't seen such before maybe you should go, otherwise definitely skip it.

The water puppet show is an interesting experience, particularly since a ticket is only $8. It's not designed specifically for tourists, and lots of locals do go to the show. The narration is entirely in Vietnamese, but you can basically follow the story lines. The...More

Water puppet show is just the shows itself. Local travel agents usually organise it with the river cruises that include dinner.
